An Intimate Winter Wedding at the Caramel Room

How is it 2019 already?! I don’t know about you, but I feel like 2018 flew by. We had so many amazing clients last year, including today’s feature! We knew we wanted to work with Lisa from the moment she walked through our door. Not only is she a delight, but we loved her modern wedding vision!

Lisa & Jim were married on a crisp February day, but you’d never guess it was winter looking through the beautiful photos by Julia Noack. The day began with a First Look on the Hyatt roof before the bridal party headed off for what must have been the most fun photo session ever… you can just tell the whole group was having a blast despite the chilly day!

Lisa & Jim selected the Caramel Room at Bissinger’s to host their intimate ceremony and reception. Family and friends surrounded the couple as they said their vows in a heartfelt ceremony-in-the-round, followed by a relaxed cocktail reception and dance party. Cocktail receptions are always fun because they give us a chance to incorporate lots of small floral touches throughout the space. In this case, floating orchids and mini callas accented cocktail tables and lounge seating, while ceremony floral was repurposed on larger tables in the main ballroom. The white and silver color palette was the perfect compliment to this modern winter wedding!
